Comments: We're both well educated with decent jobs in large private firms. Our marriage was a Non consummated marriage - due to her physical and mental problems which she could never get over despite visits to doctors and counsellors. She had a very abusive behaviour and a very short fuse and would get upset over the smallest of non-issues and display wild behaviour. She also had an abusive behaviour towards my parents. Has on a couple of occasions tried to stab me, has broken my office laptop and a lot of other things. In the first 3 months, made sure that all jewelry given by us to her as well as that given by her parents to me was kept in a joint locker that she opened with her father. Our marriage that lasted 3 years was an extremely rocky one and despite attempts to woo her, all have come a nought. For 3 years she refused to contribute to any household work and it was me who managed everything. We also had in the interim purchased a home when my salary was thrice hers. When the marriage collapsed she filed a police complaint alleging mental and physical harrassment and dowry against me and my parents. Since this police case was lodged, I had to leave Navi Mumbai, where we had our property and had to move in with my parents in Pune. She and her parents have now moved in to our property and are trying to force a settlement in cahoots with the Police. We are severely stressed and need help and guidance to combat the situation she has put us into.
